Warmup for a bigger sketch I was fiddling with today.

Lee looking like a creep. Haven’t drawn him in forever o.o

Made some significant revisions to another picture. I’m really happy with the changes. I look forward to being able to sell the new version as a print =)

Again making up for a missed day

Maybe I should change this to an “Every Other Daily” sketch blog 8D Seriously though, my sketchbook is almost full, and once it is, I will spend a few hours scanning the heck out of it >>

I think I missed a day again Dx Ah, this is more typical of how the sketches on this blog will look. I won’t usually have time to do something nice and in color. But that’s the point of sketch, yes?

I started this a long time ago as a way to layout the design of Silver’s tattoos (or will scars, as they are called in the story). I decided to ditch the fancy design though in favor of something more simple and the possibility that the markings could change. I didn’t want the drawing to go to waste so I turned it into anatomy practice. I’m happy with the arms but the legs, not so much. Hence, cropped, hah! Not even his normal markings are shown here (face marks, the ring around his neck, etc) and he also doesn’t have the shackles on his arms, which in actuality are impossible to remove.

Missed a day again, bah >> Anyway, today’s sketch is inspired by my community college speech class, for which we are required to dress “nicely”. We weren’t ordered to tuck in our shirts, but I was planning to until I realized by belt was broken. Obviously I do not dress up often xD Also, I wanted to draw pants. I was sketching different views of a standard pair of pants in my sketchbook and I was frustrated cause none of them looked right, so I wanted some practice.

An extra one to make up for missing yesterday. I wanted to paint some skin 8]

Oops, I missed a day. Yesterday was a mess @_@ Had 2 work meetings, both of which ran longer than the usual one weekly meeting, a friend came over for a while, and I met my mom for lunch. Anyway, enough excuses. Today’s sketch isn’t new, and I don’t know if it’s going anywhere, but eh, I still like it. This might be one of the first times I drew Ben with sideburns…
