Adding some recent and not-so-recent new artwork to the gallery today =) Visit Gallery page to see larger versions.

I also updated the store page with some of the new merchandise. There are a few new letter and tabloid-size prints as well as bookmarks at the bottom of their respective pages. I might be adding some badges and buttons soon, now that I have original designs to sell =)

Working on some changes to Risa’s outfit. I’m not sure about some of these changes… may need some more work. I was also thinking of changing the spelling of her name to “Raisa”, so people would know it was pronounced like that and not like “Reesa” I still like how “Risa” looks, though.

I’ve been treating my characters like actors a lot lately, drawing them in alternate worlds and outfits. Tis fun. I’ve been scribbling in ball-point pen a lot lately as well, mostly at school. I think I’m getting more confident with tools other than the tablet =) I’d like to make an illustration with this character design. I was kinda going for a sci-fi/steampunk combination thing… there was a drawing of a zeppelin-inspired spaceship on the same page. I kinda like when people combine things like that, like on Treasure Planet 83

Whew, back from KamikazeCon! I got home at about 10:30 or so Sunday night, and slept until 6:30 PM Monday evening, haha. I drew this at the con. Thanks to silvernomiko for letting me use her reference pictures =)
