Yes! This is good. I’m posting again so [comparatively] soon, still a couple days, but better than a month! Once again this semester, I have Fridays off, which is, awesome. However my schedule is considerably more busy than last semester and already I’ve had one rather long day. But first, picture!

Yay I colored it. I rather like this simplified version of my coloring style… tis handy and still looks pretty nice IMO. I’ve started drawing one of the other characters as well, wouldn’t it be awesome if I managed to draw all the major characters and get their designs worked out all nice and junk… I don’t plan to have to come up with outfits for each character to constantly wear. I rather like being able to change character’s clothes and colors on a whim. That said, I think there’s something to be said for a character having a signature outfit. How many of the oft-drawn popular characters you see fanart of everywhere are without a signature outfit? It’s a big part of a character’s recognition…

Anyways

On Wednesday I blew out a tire on my car and had to change it out for the spare and take it to the shop. Luckily my class had gotten out early (as the first class of the semester usually does) and I had like 3 hours to kill. I managed to make it back to school in time for my next class, then go home, take a nap, and go back to school again for Japanese class… which thus far isn’t nearly as fun a class as last semester… Our class has mixed with the other class and there are now lots of loud obnoxious people in there. But it was the first class, and I was very tired. In the end my day comprised 2 1/2 hours driving, 4 1/2 hours of class, 1 hour sitting in my car reading manga, 1 hour crash course in changing a tire, 1 hour waiting at auto shop, 2 hours napping at home. That’s a very long day for me, haha.

Already I have a series of 3 design mounts due for Graphic Design class… basically just repeated silhouettes of random objects… and some drawings due for Drawing I class too. I’m debating finally breaking down and buying Adobe Illustrator, as I’m going to be using it a lot in my program and don’t want to spend any more time in the school labs than needed. I hate dark, windowless computer labs full of nerds who are better than me at everything. Plus the constant whirring makes my head hurt and I’m used to a well-lit room while working on the computer.

Hm… this post is rather poor quality writing. I’m kinda tired. Even though today’s my day off I still had to get up early to deliver a casserole my mom made to the church and then I got stuck on time-wasting internet sites and sketching, now I think tis naptime *_*

Well, I have much ’splainin to do as to why I haven’t updated in quite nearly a month. Unfortunately, and as you, dear hypothetical reader, no doubt assumed, I have very little in the way of “good” excuses. So let us just skip the whining about life, how school starts again tomorrow and my sleep cycle is damaged beyond repair, and get on with business as usual.

Site Updates Today:

• Athen’s profile added to The Wonderkind section of the Worlds page.
• Mind-Body-Spirit Power Charts added to each Andalten Skies character’s profile page.
• CSS changes made to nearly every part of the site, removing some unnecessary graphic elements that were crowding the layout.
• CSS changes regarding classes and divs, correcting some goofs I made during the site’s construction.
• FINALLY added information to the “Store” page. WAS THAT SO HARD NAO? /talkingtoself
• Added contact information, including IM, to Contact page (not stalkers plz)

This be a WIP that, believe it or not, spawned out of a desire to continue updating this site and take a few more baby steps toward perhaps one day maybe possibly making a comic of some kind. She’s Tanya from The Wonderkind, whom I haven’t drawn in ages. I’ll need a proper picture of her when I get around to adding her character profile to the site.

I’m really rather happy with these Power Charts I made up for AS characters. This one is Ben’s. Click to see them all together.

I had thought that by keeping these entries short I would make it easier for myself to update daily, or at least come close. Instead, I’m feeling obligated to cram as much into this one entry as possible for fear that I won’t end up updating again for yet another month. But for now I’m resisting that temptation, saving other stuff for future updates I very much hope come about. Twas nice blabbing again =D

My Rainbow is White!

So much for posting again before Christmas, tis now 3 days after New Year’s. I think I’m getting sick again, I only got up cause I couldn’t sleep but I don’t feel like doing anything *waaa*

Today I finished making little power charts for AS characters to go on their profile pages, but I haven’t added them yet =/ Some things need tweaking… I also have WIPs that need attention (Some of which I’ve been payed for already and NEED to get started on noooow OTL *smacks self* )

Must… update… again(and for real)… soon…
