Alright! That’s a bit more like it. Sure I didn’t make another post the day after the last one, but it wasn’t a month either. It’s probably too soon to be proud of myself but I like to at least be cautiously optimistic. Anyways, because I don’t feel like making a monster of an entry, I’ll just show a couple of pictures today.

Animetor Lily-san suggested I draw a picture of Loralie, since I really haven’t drawn her much. Her design isn’t finalized much, as far as clothing goes. But my very fashionable-dressing teacher wore an interesting outfit today that I managed to sketch when she wasn’t hiding behind the podium. I might use that as inspiration for the final(?) design of Loralie’s robes. The headband was a last-minute addition. I’ve never drawn her with a headband before, and don’t know if I’ll keep it or not. At the very least we think it needs to be more interesting of a design, rather than just a plain red band. Lily thinks she looks kinda Native American, which I don’t really mind There are a lot worse and far more cliche things she could resemble! I’d add this image to her profile page, but I’m gonna wait a bit and see if maybe I can turn this into a full CG. If I did that, though, I’d probably have to redo it. It’s rough and pretty low-res. Also, I was trying some new things on the hair, technique which will need refinement.
(Note: Loralie’s eyes are listed as yellow in her profile, though in this image they are blue. I’m still leaning towards yellow, but that’s another part of her design I’m still working on.)

Kordi (on dA) drew an awesome fanart of Kota and her character Seri which you can see here (and also in the fanart/gifts section of this site). Having people like your characters is good motivation for drawing them, haha. I still haven’t gotten the back of his hair to look quite like I like it. I hope to talk more about Kota and Caramelle in a future entry.

In other news, today was Geniefox’s birthday! If you’re on dA, visit her here, and wish her some late Happies. (sorry genie-san, no one actually reads this blog, haha). And today (as in, Wednesday), is my mom’s birthday! Happy birthday to you as well mom <3 (she doesn’t read this site either, xD )

Man! I did it again. It’s been nearly a month yet again since I even touched this website, and that is not good as it is in dire need of… touchin. SO not what I had in mind, I am ashamed.
