Well A-Kon’s been over for a while, and I’ve now made plans for another convention (Tokyo in Tulsa in July), and started Summer semester at school, ugh. 3 hours of Algebra homework is a miserable type of nostalgia for the high school days =_=

I have plans to do some style experimentation and artistic playing around once I finally get back in gear with this art stuff. Also, I need to do some serious work on the comic. I finished inking one page and started a new one since A-Kon, and thumbnailed a few more pages, but that’s it. I need to buckle down and finishe thumbnailing chapter 1 so I can know exactly how many pages I’m dealing with and start planning/writing chapter 2. I’ve pretty much decided to release a printed comic at next year’s A-Kon, but hopefully there will be a place to read it online long before then =)

My school schedule is really quite light (despite the trauma and exhaustion that always comes from a first day, which always seems longer than it is), so hopefully that won’t be able to damage my motivation seriously.

I’ve also got a commission to work on, which is nice, I feel strapped for cash after dropping almost $400 for books and supplies today, man. I hate how overpriced schoolbooks are.

I uploaded some new art to the gallery a couple days ago. I might be able to update the scraps section soon, need to gather up some of the sketches I’ve been doing and do some scanning and update my reference files… again.
